What you need to become a member:
An interest in astronomy.
Visit one or more meetings or club observings to find out who we are, what
we do and whether we can help you achieve your goals in astronomy.
Dues are $15 a year for a
single or family membership. You can join at one of our meetings, or
download, print and send us your application. Click
here to download the application...
All membership renewals
are due in February of each year.
What you don't need:
A telescope. If you don't
already have a telescope, don't go out and buy one. Instead, come to a few
of our observings. Our members will let you try their telescopes and
talk with you about what you want, need and can afford.
Advanced astronomy knowledge. Most of us started with very little knowledge of astronomy. Our club members now include all levels of knowledge from newcomer to advanced observer.
