What you need to become a member

An interest in astronomy. Visit one or more meetings or club observings to find out who we are, what we do and whether we can help you achieve your goals in astronomy.

Dues are $15 per year for your whole household and are collected starting in February. For the first year of membership, dues are prorated quarterly.

What you don’t need to become a member

A telescope. If you don’t already have a telescope, don’t go out and buy one. Instead, come to a few of our observings.  Our members will let you try their telescopes and talk with you about what you want, need and can afford.

Advanced astronomy knowledge. Most of us started with very little knowledge of astronomy. Our club members now include all levels of knowledge from newcomer to advanced observer.
